03 / Pulmonary · CT
Per-lobe volume and low-attenuation area, from the same cardiac acquisition.
01 · It comes with the cardiac scan
The lungs are inside the cardiac field of view. LungX reads them from the volume HeartX has already ingested — no extra acquisition, no extra dose, no extra visit.
Measured within the cardiac field of view — not a substitute for a dedicated chest CT.
02 · What it measures
Five lobes, measured separately rather than as one lung mass.
The proportion of voxels below the standard emphysema threshold.
Mean attenuation across lung tissue.
Each measurement is anchored to published thresholds and ships with the method that produced it. The methodology →
03 · Why it matters now
Emphysema is not uniform. A single whole-lung number averages away where the change actually is; five lobes measured separately keeps it. Cardiopulmonary programmes already scanning the chest get that resolution without adding a visit.
04 · Status
Extraction, per-lobe values, cohort view and export, on every cardiac study that contains lung tissue.
Calibrating published thresholds for this field of view, and comparison against dedicated chest CT on the same patients.
If a cardiac CT is already in the schedule, the lungs are already in the volume.
